What You'll Need to Get Started
Make sure to catch the first FREE video where I introduce the materials and suggest alternatives you might prefer.
- Titanium White
- Yellow Lake (or any other Yellow)
- Yellow Ochre
- Cadmium Red Medium (or any other Red)
- Burnt Umber (or any other Brown)
- Ivory Black
- We will need any small surface to polish your blending skills. Mine is an oil paper pad Rembrandt by Royal Talens.
- A fine cotton canvas for your masterpiece. I'll be using Belle Arti Gallery 30x30 cm (11,8x11,8 inches).
- One round synthetic brush. We will use it for everything including blending. Mine is Rosemary&co 201 size 4. They are out of stock now but Michael Klein synthetic pointed rounds are very similar.
- A larger brush for smoothly covering the background.
- Feel free to use any painting/alkyd medium of a linseed oil. I’ll be using a Miracle Medium Oil Paint Medium by Michael Harding.
